Happy End of the 2012-2013 School Year!!!

This was our last time outside for this year.  Principal Minor treated us to two blueberry bushes for the garden beds.  Marigolds will help keep the animals out (hopefully).  Flower bulbs were also planted.  Painting and letters are to be continued... next year!

Hang loose!

Our two blueberry bushes.  Digging out the soil, mixing with peet moss and compost.  The finishing touches will be marigolds and bark mulch.

The students decided to paint the beds and add "CHS", "LAKERS", "RESPECT", "RESPONSIBILITY" and "PRIDE" on the outside of the beds.  These words will be finished next year, however, the outlining continues.
